The Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans Downtown underwent a comprehensive, multimillion-dollar renovation that modernized the entire property while embracing the culture and musical heritage of New Orleans.
The renovation included all 166 guest suites, where new furnishings, soft goods, wall coverings, flooring, and updated finishes created a fresh, contemporary extended-stay experience. Public spaces were completely redesigned, including the dramatic two-story lobby and front desk, featuring locally inspired artwork and décor that celebrates the city’s iconic music scene.
Additional enhancements included new furniture throughout the lobby, a custom art package, refreshed meeting spaces, and the addition of interactive guest amenities such as a regulation-size shuffleboard table. Rich color palettes and locally inspired design elements were incorporated throughout the hotel to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the spirit of New Orleans.
The completed renovation successfully combined modern comfort with authentic local character, delivering an elevated guest experience while maintaining the functionality expected of an extended-stay hotel.
